Virgin River Hotel & Casino celebrates grand opening of Sportsbook major renovation

The Virgin River Hotel & Casino is excited to announce the grand opening of its new state-of-the-art Sportsbook on Friday, Jan. 24, in Mesquite, Nevada. The event will feature former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Ty Detmer, who will be signing autographs and posing for photographs free of charge from 1-3 p.m. PST.

“Our incredible new Sportsbook introduces a must-see, best-in-class gathering place to view and wager on an expanded slate of racing and sporting events,” said Tom Jannarone, general manager of the Virgin River Hotel & Casino. “Having Hall of Famer Ty Detmer here with us to kick off this new era will make it an unforgettable experience for everyone.”

The extensive Virgin River Sportsbook upgrade and expansion will feature several new 85-inch monitors and a massive 53-foot-wide by 10-foot-high video wall. Additionally, major renovations throughout the property have introduced 90 of the latest and most popular slot machines to the gaming floor.
